Lenovo SL400 not getting started

Hi,

When I am starting my Lenovo ThinkPad SL400 it is not getting started. When I switch it on it starts till it shows ThinkPad on the display, then it gets shut down ,not going ahead if it.

You may be experiencing thermal throttling, maybe because of dried-up thermal paste or a broken cooling fan. The SL400 is a seven-year-old laptop, and these things tend to happen over time. Try having the laptop cleaned and serviced.
