Hi,
Please do try these troubleshooting steps that I just suggested to others who had the same problem. Connect an external USB mouse for the mean time for troubleshooting purposes also do test if it will work or not.
- For your keyboard and Touchpad uninstall its driver from Device Manager.
- Once both uninstalled, reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot do test your Touchpad and Keyboard again if it will work not.
- If it doesn't work do also connect an external USB keyboard and see if it will work or not.
- If it does work your last option would be to do a clean install of Windows 10.
