ThinkPad Edge E531, Intel Core i5 3230M 2.6 GHz, NVIDIA GT 730M 2GB, 8GB, 1 TB 5400 RPM, HD Anti glare sceen, 15.6", posible backlit keys

Acer 15.6'' Aspire V3-571G-736B4G50Maii, Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM 2.4GHz Ivy Bridge, 8GB (4GB + 4GB), 500GB 5400 RPM, GeForce GT 640M 2GB, glossy screen and everything

I am not sure what to take, the ThinkPad seems to have better build quality. The Acer has obviously superior hardware. Is build quality worth taking over hardware? It's a desktop replacement that I will also take to school every day, meaning school (programming stuffs) and gaming, multimedia, pretty much everything and anything.

Price is identical.

If you are looking at gaming performance it wont make much difference ...

how much is your budget ?

My budget is +- 900 USD. Problem is I live in Romania and a lot of very good and cheat laptops in the US, in Europe cost double. These two are 2 of very few good options. The machine will be used at school (meaning most likely software development), gaming performance is important but secondary at best.

Another option would be a Lenovo Z500 wityh i5 or i7 QM @ 2.1 ghz with thesame specs as the rest, 8g ram and gt 740m. Same price.

lenovoexclusiv.ro and the official lenovo site do not have ANY variants of this model with that resolution. All of them had 1366x768.

I can't find if this is some specific model, or those sites have stupid information written there.

WOuld love some help figuring this out, so I know where to buy this thing.
