I've been looking at several options and I just cannot decide what computer to get. I want something that is good for medium computing, light gaming, watching movies and has decent battery life. I also need to it to be reliable, and preferably less than $900 with an extended warranty.
I've been looking at the Dell inspiron 14 and 15 5000s spec'd with the dedicated nvidia graphics card and the lenovo z40-70 and z50-70 also spec'd with a dedicated nvidia graphics card. As far as on paper specs go I think they're about the same so I'm not too worried about which one is best in that regard. However I cannot find enough user review on either of them to see how they really are. I'm worried about which one will have the most annoying flaws like poor wifi connections, poor color quality/depth/contrast, poor screen angles, bad sound, crappy mouse pads and keyboards, or just general unreliability. I'd also looked at the ASUS X555s but I was worried about the matte display.

If anyone can offer me some insight, personal experiences or advice I would really appreciate it.
Best regards,
Evan

well I would suggest the dell over lenovo (asus is the best option), since it has a better cpu and a newer version of the same gpu. But the resolution is not as good as the laptops from Lenovo + the hdd on the Z40-70 has an integrated ssd for fast boot. but the asus is the best it has a far better gpu (940m > 820m/920m)compared to the ones from dell and lenovo and has the same cpu as the ones from dell. It has a 1080p screen. the matte screen means that background light isnt reflected by the screen so its much easier to see what you are doing in places with a lot of background light.
