levono laptop won't boot

I have two exams coming up and I'm freaking because my laptop turn on as normal but the screen goes black and in the top left hand corner it say "checking media" then another thing pops us that reads " EFI network 0for IPv4 (28-D2-44-B0-D1) boot failed. I click okay then it takes me to another window with the same as above but with IPv6 intead of the fou . I click on both but nothing happenes. Please help I really need my notes that a on here

Hi,

This sounds bad and hope you did some backup.
Most likely you have a hard drive problem thus the laptop is trying to boot on other media such as dvd and network.

If you go in bios do you see the hard drive ?
Might want to take the drive out and put in in another computer o see if it detects it.

If the hard drive works, I would put in windows install cd and try to repair.
But don't reinstall windows, you will lose all data
