I am having a resolution issue with my new LG 32LC3D info Currently it will only display at 1024x768 and will not switch to a wide format. I previously used a Poloroid FLM-323B 32" LCD info which worked great with my computer, would get 1366x768 and the image was sharp. However i ended up returning it twice due to dead pixels and therefore made the switch. I was wondering if someone could give me a hand or direct me to a program that would help fix this mess. I am currently using a GeForce 7800 GS that is currently used via AGP. I am using a HDMI to DVI cord to connect the TV and computer, and i have also tried the VGA connection cord to interlink them. Thanks

Check deep in nVidia's software for an option to force 16:9 output. It's buried pretty deep in ATI's software.

If there's no such option, try 1280x720 or 1360x768. You can use Powerstrip to force it. Do a web search. It's free. Just stay out of the advanced options if you aren't a video engineer.

Ok checked NVidia Software for the 16:9 force, but could not find anything. So i set the resolution to 1280x720, picture comes in good, but the problem is that parts of the desktop are now off the screen. If i move the mouse to where its off, it scrolls the missing area into view. I checked around for an adjustment to resize the viewing area, but had no such luck. I attempted to force the 1280x720 with Powerstrip and had the same issue. I then tried 1366x768 however the picture does the same thing, and is very fuzzy and appears like the screen is vibrating.

Ok i followed the instructions and set it to 720p. I then set it to Underscan mode and set the Overscan shift to the left since the desktop was panning off the screen again. Now i am at a 1176x648 resolution, so its a touch better, but i am still at odds as to why i can't get 1366x768 when I could with the other HDTV i returned.

I'm having the same problem. Hooking up my 32LC2D to my Radeon X800, I can't bump the resolution above 1024x768. If I try to force it to anything higher, the screen goes blank and says Invalid Format.

Any suggestions? Would like to play in a widescreen res.
