LG Stylo 2 on Straight Talk compatible on my Verizon account?

My Verizon phone died( Samsung Note 3) and I don't want to get into a 2 year lock with Verizon, I like my month to month billing that I have. Can I buy a Straight Talk LG Stylo 2 (closest thing to my Note 3) and use it on my VZW account? It's an account I've had for 10 years, with multiple phones & tablets currently active (my family is all on my account). I several important reasons, I do not want to call VZW and ask.

You should be able to do that, since both are CDMA carriers. As long as Verizon will let you use the phone. You may want to call them and check as well. However going by the type of carrier, they should work. Now if you were trying a say AT&T Go phone, it wouldn't work.
