Solved! Liquid spilled into Gateway NV53 laptop computer

My daughter spilled liquid into the keyboard and now it types the wrong keys. Or in some cases does not register at all. I've replaced the keyboard, but it is still doing the same thing. Have not ruled out the fact that maybe I've gotten a bad keyboard, although a usb keyboard works just fine. Any Ideas?

Reinstall the keyboard driver for your laptop. Also, the connector on the mobo for the keyboard could be stained. Give it a clean. If it still doesn't work, then it is damaged.

Thank You, It was indeed the connection. I pulled it out and replaced it and viola works! Thanks again!
