Log in problems

When I open up my Dell computer it sends me straight to the log in screen for my user. I type in the CORRECT password and it says it has failed. It says type in the previous password you used for this computer, but that's the first password I've had. Account.live hasn't done any good, and I don't want to break/buy a brand new laptop. What should I do?

Beyond suggesting you check the CapsLock button isn't messing with your log in attempts, there is nothing we can do to help with password issues.

We can't see proof of ownership but a local professional PC Fixer might be able to help if you take along some of that proof.
