I am Looking for a something not to complicated like DSLR but something I can play around with the settings (ISO, exposure, ect) I don't need a manual focus, and im looking to spend around $240 USD. I currently have a sony cybershot dsc-w650. I was looking at 2 possibilities:

The Fujifilm S8200 http://snapsort.com/cameras/Fujifilm-FinePix-S8200

Or

The Nikon L820 http://snapsort.com/cameras/Nikon-Coolpix-L820

I found the S8200 for 229.99 at Sears.com and the L820 also at sears.com for $196.95.

I would like the ability to take 1080 Videos and i would like to have about 30x zoom, The S8200 takes videos at 480 fps but i have no use for that. I would like to also be able to take action shots and continuous burst shots. I also might be willing to get a refurbished camera. I am trying to find a new hobby and I wanted to try photography. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Go for the S8200, it has a lot of features like ISO at 12k sensitivity, a lot of zoom and it records high speed videos (480fps VS 240fps).
Higher ISO may help you to action shots, if you are willing to have a little more noisy photos, and the zoom fits perfectly for sports.

Nikon is just better-looking than the Fujifilm.
