Hello, I am looking to spend around ~$600 and this is the system reqs I am working with:

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better or Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better

Operating System:
Windows XP/Vista/7

RAM:
Windows XP: 1.5GB
Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB
PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB RAM

Graphics Card:
ATI X1800 or better*
nVidia 7800 or better*
Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better*

DVD-ROM:
8x or better

*Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

I found this laptop on Newegg for $450:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834158129

It appears to meet all of the reqs but I am very weary to spend the $450 and then get stuck with a laptop that wont play the game.

It appears in my price range the processor will either be AMD A6 or Intel i3 and I will either have 4-6GB of RAM, my biggest concern I guess is the graphics card. Or in the case of this particular laptop integrated graphics.

For games you probaly want an A6.

If you want to get an intel, make sure you find a laptop with a 2nd gen sandy bridge i3.
