I am a youtube creator, and looking to invest in a video camera for use. Is there a camcorder for around $500 that can replicate the quality that the video I found I youtube has?

Looks like a good choice. Below is a short list of spec comparisons between the Sony HDR-CX440 and the Canon VIXIA HF R600
Sensor Size:
HDR-CX440 - 1/5.8"
VIXIA HF R600 - 1/4.85"
The Canon will probably have better low-light performance due to the larger sensor size.

Effective Pixels:
HDR-CX440 - Effective Picture Resolution : Approx. 2290K pixels (16:9) / Approx. 1710K pixels (4:3)
VIXIA HF R600 - 2,073,600 pixels (Video), 2,073,600 (Photo)

Maximum Aperture:
HDR-CX440 - F1.8-F4.0
VIXIA HF R600 - f/ 1.8 - f/ 4.5

Optical Zoom:
HDR-CX440 - 30X
VIXIA HF R600 - 32X

Video Resolution:
HDR-CX440
Video Resolution : HD:1920x1080/60p (PS), 60i (FX,FH), 1440x1080/60i (HQ,LP); MP4: 1280x720 30p; XAVC S...
I accidentally removed the wrong link. You can add the link in a response or send it to me and I will make the correction. I tried to restore it to no avail. I apologize for this. The other link (the one below you name) was removed because it could be interpreted as advertising.

That said here are some camcorders that should meet you needs for under $500:
Canon 32GB VIXIA HF R62 Full HD Camcorder
Panasonic HC-W570 HD Camcorder
Canon 8GB VIXIA HF R60 Full HD Camcorder
Sony HDR-PJ440 HD Handycam with Built-In Projector and 8GB Internal Memory
Panasonic HC-V550 Full HD Camcorder
Canon VIXIA HF R600 Full HD Camcorder
Panasonic HC-V250 Full HD Camcorder

Understandable for the removal. I am considering getting Sony HDR-CX440 Which comes out this february 15th. I assume that would work well. Is there one model you recommend highly for some reason or another. I have looked at so many models my head is spinning. Oh and in your experience is one brand better than another quality, or otherwise.

Thanks for your help.

BTW the video I used for reference to the quality I am trying to acquire is here:

If you want live streaming without the purchase of optional/additional equipment then go with the Sony HDR-CX440. If low-light performance and headphone/microphone jacks are important then go with the Canon VIXIA HF R600. There is not much difference in the Optical Zoom. Ultimately it comes down to which features are the most important to you.
