Looking for a sub $500 laptop that is small

Hello,
My Acer laptop has ceased to type and I need to move on. I only have about $500 to spend. It would be used for Internet browsing and typing word documents. I see a lot of fifteen inch laptops, but I don't want something that big. My dead one is 11" and I'd like to find something that size again. Ideas?
