Looking for headset

I've experienced a few different brands that all had to be returned.
Some of them that I can remember that hurt me, after about 30 minutes of use I couldn't stand it anymore.. Are : Turtle beach, most XBOX/playstation headsets for gaming.
I am using a old viotek headset currently and ordered a amazon headset in the mail to try it out.
I'm tired of the constant pain, also I play games for long periods of times so I need a good headset.
Any recommendations ?

My son had a $355 Sennheiser headset which he really enjoyed but he's tall and when he stood up, he'd forget they were on and the things would get ripped off his head when the cable reached the end of its rope so to speak. After a while the wires got pulled out of the headset and he sent it in for repair. While he was waiting, he picked up a Logitech G930 wireless set for $90 ... but when it came back, he kept the 930. You can find them on Amazon for about $60.
