Lose previously imported photos in Filmora

I am new at this, trying to import photos from 2 different DVDs into Filmora. Importing from 1st DVD is no problem. Once I start importing from 2nd DVD, the previous photos turn black in the preview screen and get a yellow triangle in the box where you import media. I have saved, saved project, exported but cannot get the previous pictures to show, driving me crazy !

It could be Filmora is just creating a link to those pictures on the DVD and once the DVD is removed the link is broken and hence the yellow triangle. Have you tried copying the pictures from the DVD to a folder on your hard drive and then importing them into Filmora?
