Low power speakers with record player

I'm wanting to buy an old record player and pair of speakers. I don't have electricity at home so will be running them through a deep cycle battery with a 240V inverter. I want to know what to look for in old vinyl set ups that will draw the smallest amount of electricity from the battery so I don't have to recharge it as often. I don't need to have them turned up too loud or anything

A record player (as opposed to a turntable) contains an amplifier and speakers built in or attached to it. You would want one that drew the least amount of power from the AC.
You might also consider a battery powered unit like this one

They would have the lowest wattage and so if used with the AC adapter the longest time before recharge. You could even skip the inverter and just use rechargeable batteries.
If you want to use a turntable with line level output and powered speakers then get the speakers with the lowest amount of power and a manual belt drive turntable.
