Hi, I found this macbook here on groupon : http://gr.pn/1LQTgz6

And was wondering if this would be a good laptop for on-site editing. I use Adobe Premiere Pro and AfterEffects mostly. Still an amateur at video editing just fyi. Also, how would this perform with aftereffects/premiere pro, and how would apple's video editing software run in comparison.
ANother question, would it be better to get a macbook with an NVIDIA GPU, or would IRIS Pro graphics suffice (CUDA and all..) Thanks in advance.

It took me a while to dig this up. I've always hated how Apple hides which year model its laptops are. But you've linked to a mid-2012 13" MBP.

For video editing, my main concern would be the 1280x800 screen. Not only is it very low resolution, but the review says this is from the fateful period when Apple went with TN screens on its Pro models. TN screens will shift their colors (and eventually invert) as you change your vertical viewing angles. I consider them unacceptable for any sort of graphics or video work. It's impossible to edit the picture consistently unless you somehow lock your head position relative to the screen tilt.

Yea I figured. Would you recommend IRIS Pro for video editing or a macbook with a dedicated NVIDIA
