Marantz vs NAD single disc CD player

I need to buy a new cd player. I've decided on either the NAD 515BEE or the Marantz CD-5004. The Marantz is $50 more, and has slightly better specs. Any suggestion, comments, recommendation?

Buy NAD better quality control and more musical sounding. NAD has been a around for a long time in the audio field.I hear this NAD player and it sounded very good. Marantz is mediocre .

Agreed with Marv. I've always had good experiences with the NAD equipment I have owned and it will save you $50.

And you probably won't hear any difference between the CD players. Digital is digital after all.

A happy ending. I now own a Sony DVD player and it works and sounds fine. Digital is digital after all so the sound won't change. But the NADs quality should be much better than the Marantz. Who makes them these days?
