Have a 30GB SD HC card in an LG and HTC Android phone. Should be able to move much more than what I've accomplished. Have called support for both manufacturers but have not the guidance other than the obvious. Hoping for informed guidance
It sounds more like it is the size of the file. Phones don't really expect to have such huge files. Have you tried connecting the phone to a computer, via USB cord, moving the file to an empty folder on the computer and then back via the USB connection to the card?
Also, have you checked the specs of the individual phones? Do they allow for cards of that size? 30GB seems like a rather odd number as well. Usually they are 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, etc.
Both phones have a port to install SD cards. Have massive podcasts and news reports. Each system allows a limited amount of media to go to the card. Trying to find out what is the limiting element. About 1GB of media have been moved to each SD card. Attempting to "drag" a single podcast to the card does not work. Can it be:
- An OS Policy
- Something overlooked in the Manual
- Some other option
