Yeah, the top 5 results include (srs) Avira, AVG and Avast - the twisted trio of evil (non-srs).
My choice is Avast. If you take the not-so-long time to go over all the settings manually (v5's config feels much easier to navigate than v4.8's, trust me), it gets pretty effective.
