Mic doesn't appear in combo jack. Help!

My headset mic doesn't work. Although the headphones do. It's a 3.5 jack and all that stuff. It's compatible. I've updated drivers etc. It;s the Xbox One Stereo . It works on my Xbox One. Can someone help?

What is "and all that stuff"? You probably need a converter for the headset, does the headset have dual connections? If it works with the XBOX did you check to see if the connection is compatible with a PC combo jack?
