Micro SD photo recovery

Samsung S3 screen froze and can't open phone. Bought new iphone but want to recover pictures from micro sd card from Samsung phone. I put sd card in computer but it can't open the pictures. I tried using a "free trial" of a software program and it shows the pictures but they want $39.95 to download and get pictures. How can I get pictures without paying the $39.95?

Give this program a try. https://www.piriform.com/recuva I have used the free version many times over the years and it has worked great! Very easy to use as well.

Oh, and ALWAYS back your photos up to multiple drives, or to the cloud. See what can happen if you don't? 😛
