When I connect my headset to my computer and click listen to device, I get a loud non stop buzzing sound through the headset, I can hear it over my voice when I speak into the mic. This happened when I upgraded my motherboard and CPU.

I even bought a new case to see if it would fix my problem, it didn't. I tried disconnecting some devices from my comp but it didn't work. I tried a different outlet and nothing. So this must be after I switched out my motherboard and CPU.

I've been researching and I think it's a grounding issue. but I have not been able to pin the problem down at all. I don't know where it's coming from. When I touch a metal part of my case, the sound gets lower. Anyone have any ideas. TY

I don't think it's the sound card, my speakers work just fine, and it's a USB headset, it buzzes with every USB port on the computer. It's not dust, my computer is quite clean. I'm lost.
