what about the Acer Aspire E11 Es1-111m? its giving me a blue strip that says "default boot devise missing or boot failed. insert recovery media and hit any key. then select 'boot manager' to choose a new boot device or to boot recovery media." and if i hit enter it goes to boot manager and says
"boot option menu
1. windows boot manager (wdc wd2500lpvx-22v0tt0)
up and down arrows to change options (there is one option) enter to select option, esc to exit.
i hit enter it takes me to the blue strip, if i hit esc it goes to the blue strip.
what do i do?

Hi Jellybro,

It sounds as like the laptop cannot access your OS. What OS are you running on it? Do you have any recovery discs?

If you're running Win10, you can download from https/www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 and make an ISO file of Windows 10 which you can burn onto a CD. With this error message, it should hopefully try and boot from the CD and with this, you should be able to repair the OS. You can also use a Memory Stick.

Come back if you have no luck and we can try something else.
