Minecraft Laptop help

i need help with a laptop for MC. am thinking of buying gateway FX off ebay for show, would it run MC?

basic specs. would upgrade RAM and HDD.

any other flashy suggestions? i would preffer something cool looking like this....

something old or new it doesnt matter. as long as MC get decent FPS and it looks cool

Although the laptop is old the Gateway P-7811 FX is definitely above the "Good" recommendation in the following site:

Based on the following link the for the GeForce 9800m GTS. It modern day near equivalent would be the Radeon 8590m and the GT 720m. The GeForce 9800m GTS would be between them. They are considered to be entry level graphic chips. The problem with the 9800m GTS is that it is a DirectX 10 graphics card which means should you decide to play a game that requires a DirectX 11 graphics chip, you will not be able to play it.

The Alienware has an older but slightly more powerful graphics chip (DirectX 10). It also has a more powerful CPU so that makes this laptop better for games. But again, you will not be able to play games that requires DX11.

Since the seller lives in Brookyln, it might be worth inspecting it prior to purchasing it, if you also live in NYC and the seller agrees to you see it first.

You will not be able to buy a new laptop with graphic chips as powerful as the old 9800m GTS or 8800m GTX so the two laptops are probably your best options.

i might get a better alienware actiualy. not thinking of that specific one just saw it was cheapest m17 and suggested alienware.
why i am heavily considering the gateway is because of the storage capabilities.
AW would be better anyway, but im thinking of minecraft and which is more useful. and a little more flashy in my eyes at least. will try to go as cheap as i can and still get cool looks....

on ebay i be seein a lot more AW on for pretty cheap to, people be selling old models to get the recent remake of looks?
