Minecraft on these latops?

How well would either of these laptops run minecraft? And what is the highest resolution textutre pack I could use? I like both but am not sure which would be best and I am open to suggestions. Also my budget is no higher than 500 dollars. I plan to use the laptop only for minecraft, school, surfing the web, youtube, and maybe music.

Both laptops are basically the same since they both have the A8-6410 APU. The processing power is okay, but the integrated graphics core; Radeon R5 (Beema); is not that powerful. The Radeon R5 (Beema) is only ranked about equal to the Intel HD 4000 in the following link based on various benchmarks. It used to rank about equal to the Intel HD 4200, but I suppose after more benchmarks the site decided to lower it's performance to about equal to the Intel HD 4000. Note that Radeon HD 8210 for the 15.6" laptop is incorrect.

I would get the following Acer laptop with the Core i3-4005u and nVidia GT 820m for $490. It only comes with 4GB of RAM, but you can upgrade that later and it will not affect Minecraft. The GT 820m is not a very powerful graphics chip, but it is far more powerful than the Radeon R5 (Beema) graphics core.

The Core i3-4030u will run the game better than the A8-6410. While the A8-6410 may have 4 cores Minecraft does not use more than 2 cores; it may only use one core. Due to the difference in how both processors are designed Intel CPU can execute more instructions for every MHz than AMD APUs can. Assuming the same clockspeed, the Intel Core i3-4030u is probably about 35% - 40% more powerful than AMD's low end A8-6410 APU.

What about compared to an AMD A10 7300 with r6 graphics?

hello there the AMD A10 is the best processor AMD makes for its laptops i would have to say the A10 is better than the i3 but since your just playing minecraft anything above a core i3 will run minecraft just fine even 4gb of ram will do you just fine enless you really wanna spend money on a gaming laptop just for minecraft then i would recommend anything with a core i3 or above if you dont wanna feel ripped off or that your computer is outdated in 6 months or less i would suggest a laptop with atleast a core i5 but as the other guy stated whatever you choose will work just fine hope this helps
