mirroring problem resolution?

hp will no longer mirror to my sony bravia set, was adviced to change resolution setting on chromebook, but i dont have a clue as to how

Right click on the desktop background and select "Screen Resolution".

Or you can go into "Control Panel", click "Display" and then click "Adjust Resolution".
