So about a year ago, I got myself a Lenovo G565 (I know, spectacular stuff) because I couldn't afford anything more. But, from the moment I bought it till now my graphics card was failing and I didn't open it up till today. Basically, red lines across the display, white stripes (see picture 1) and every time I tried to install graphics drivers the display went completely black, and I couldn't do anything till I reinstalled Windows again, repeating the same process.

When I opened up the laptop and removed the heat pipe, this is what I saw:

The chipset was missing a transistor on it, and that is most likely the source of my issue.
Is there anything I can do about this? Should I replace this chip or get a new laptop? Thanks in advance.
