Hello everyone. So I am currently on a mini audio project.

I am trying to replicate the Plantronic RIG headphone system with multiple modular mid to high end.

Now. So the easy part is getting a high end Gaming headphone, wich has 2 3.5mm jacks. One for the microphone and one for sound. Microphone can go directly connected to the pc no problem. The hard part now, is having 1-2-3 inputs, and mix them with variable volume on each, to one output for the headphones.

Behold my paint skills. I am looking for the red part.

Essentially, a stereo audio mixer that works with 3.5mm jacks and has slight amp properties so that it doesnt explode or something when you plug an ipod or something with similar low strenght output to it.

Thanks for your help!

Edit : Would a product like this work?
Rolls MX44s MiniMix IV or a Behringer MX400

Im not sure because it has high impedence input and outputs and i dont know anything about that.

The Behringer, and I believe the Rolls, are not stereo mixers.
Something like this would work - You would need a bunch of adapters, or special cables. It's a bit pricey for what you are wanting.

I've been looking for something like this myself, just because I use several computers at once, and it would be less cluttered that multiple sets of speakers. If I find something I'll update this.

No my problem with the original is that it has a manufacturing flaw where the headphone short circuits after a few months. But then, if i just want to buy a new headphone peice, it uses a proprietary plug.
