I'm looking at a Monster 1 in X 3 out cable splitter. Two outputs to TV's and the third to the cable modem. One of the outputs is labeled "power pass". I'm guessing this one is best connected to the modem. Any opinions and what does the power pass mean? Thanks.

Power pass is for use with a remotely powered antenna amplifier. The amp itself is at the antenna and the power supply is in a convenient location inside. The power is sent over the antenna wire. Has nothing to do with your modem. I might suggest connecting to the modem first and splitting the output of that to the two TVs. Try it both ways and see if your picture or online performance is better one way.
