Most of the keys on my laptop have stopped working

Hi, my 1 year old niece has managed to disable most of my keyboard! I don't have a clue what she's done but the only keys that work are: esc 1 3-qtup]'jzvb I have tried sticky keys etc but it isn't that, I have done a system restore to before it was messed up but that hasn't helped. It is an acre aspire 5750 laptop. Any help would be much appreciated as I run my business from this laptop!

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Check keyboard language settings.
- Open Control Panel and look for Region and Language.
- Check all tabs if they are all set to United States.
- If that doesn't work, try pressing those following keys which are not working using your onscreen keyboard (Ease of Access look for Onscreen keyboard)
- Connect an external keyboard and see if the same problem will persist because if does you may need to consider on doing a complete Factory Reset cause it's a problem with your operating system.
- If all these will not work I would suggest replacing the keyboard itself.
