Motorola V710

I was looking on the Motorola web site and it list MP3 playback as a
feature for the V710, however, in the user's manual there is no
mention of MP3. Does this phone really have MP3 capability? If so,
how does it work? How would you be able to get MP3s on there?

The phone also has a slot for a SDRAM card so would anyone recommend
using this as MP3 player?

Put the songs on a transflash card, insert into phone, go to media center on
phone and play away.
There are LOTS of things this phone will do that the manual makes no mention
of. Typical lousy moto manual.

Such as? What can it do that isn't in the book.

Well...one question...I thought I heard that this phone had a speaker
phone...but can't find a thing about it. Does it, or doesn't it?

It does, and it's even mentioned in the manual. It's the key below the
volume keys. It works only when the clamshell is open, though.

Thanks to the posting about the mp3. But does anyone has any information of
any way to do it wireless via Bluetooth.
I would like to take advantage of this technology.
Speaker phone is excellent, and yes you need to have the phone opened.
One of the things are great about this phone is the ability of been able to
recognized your voice command for dialing a phone number or locating a
phonebook entry without having to programmed every single entry in your
phone book with a voice stamp.

My partner has a Samsung a670 with this same feature.

Yup. My partner has a Samsung from Verizon; the voice recognition in
both is the same, judging from the Samsung manual and my experience with
my V710.
