Mozilla firefox freezing when trying to watch video

My browser is freezing when i try watching videos , I try reinstalling it, I also reinstalled flash player but no change. I got this issue since yesterday , It was fine untill then. thanks

Try right click the youtube video then select Settings then select Video accelaration (tick the box). This will apply globally so you don't need to do it for every youtube video.

firefox completely freezes when I try watching a youtube video. I need to open task manager and stop the firefox.exe process if i wanna use the browser again.. It was working fine untill now, I dont know what happened.

Probably an Adobe update.
Firefox is not a 64 bit program, there is no 64 bit Firefox available., your version woud only be 32 bit . You could try the latest version of Firefox, thatmight help the issue.

It could also be the video you are watching, it might not be compatible with the Youtube, maybe...

What is your operating system?Windows 7 x64?
How much ram do you have, you need at least 4gb.

Flash may be corrupt Follow these instructions to do a clean removal of flash, then try reinstalling it.

If this doesn't work, worst case, you can always do a system restore to a time prior to this not working. That may fix it.
