Mozilla Firefox Right Click Hijack

Im not sure if this is where to put it but my father is having a very frustrating problem with firefox in that whenever he uses the internet with it and opens a new page by right clicking the page redirects to stuff like game of thrones and if you search in google for something and click on the link normally it happens too

He has malwarebytes anti-malware installed with the latest definition files and has run countless scans and found nothing

Ironically, I had the same problem awhile back and fixed it but cant remember the details of how to do it

I think it involved changing firefox settings, disabling or removing something, or doing a complete firefox reset

If anyone can elaborate on these proceduresor suggest another solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

in firefox option that where you set the main log page when you open the browser and apply change .

Hi,

Boot in safemode with networking and goto bleepingcomputer.com

Download, scan and delete with adwcleaner, JRT, rogukiller.

Then reset firefox (http/malwaretips.com/blogs/reset-firefox-settings/)

If the problem persist and you have windows 7, vista or xp, run combofix (download from bleeping computer)

you might also want to run a minitoolbox (reset network settings )
