ms address book recovery

Hi,
I have recovered an address book .wab file from a 98 machine that was formatted but when I try to import the address book in outlook it gives me an error saying it could not be imported, is there any way to repair this file to get the contact addresses back?

Your WAB fie is not damaged, it's just that Office Outlook cannot directly deal with an Address Book that's in WAB format.
It first needs to be changed to a format that Office Outlook recognises.

The Windows Address Book (WAB) is a Personal Address Book (PAB) in Office Outlook.
