Ok so I have an msi gs60 and the mic and any mic I attach to it seems to suffer from cutting out mid sentence on software like curse voice. The mic works fine on my desktop so I was thinking it might be a sound card issue but have no way of diagnosing this (confirming). Audio itself works fine.

Hi,
Please do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver of your laptop.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound driver.
- Next is t download and install the latest Sound driver from MSI Support site.
- Here's the link: http
/download.msi.com/nb_drivers/ad/audio-realtek-6.0.1.7312-0x58db128b-81700.zip
- Once installed reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- If these doesn't work run Windows Update and install all updates available.
- Lastly is to run a complete factory reset if all these will not work.
