Music File DISASTER!

Hello,

I am the manager of a local bar, and we recently had to recover all of our music files from the hard drive due to uncontrollable circumstances. Once it was recovered, the music had been saved as BOTH WMA and MP3! Are there any steps I can take to repair these files and restore them to one file type or the other? Any softwares? Please help! My job is on the line!

If you have both file types for the songs, why not just use the format you want?
