id say some caps are blown. have you tried leaving it on for a while and seeing if it ever comes on? I know my spare monitor does that and i have to wait a litle while then keep flicking it on and off and its fine due to bad caps.
one other thing is to check the lamp since im guessing its DLP. If the lamps not on you wont see anything either

You probably need to replace the bulbs. I had the 60in and had to replace it just after a year or so. Very easy to do, kinda like changing a lightbulb. Tutorials on youtube.
