My Acer laptop 5570z won't come on and if I take out the battery and put it back and plug in charger after holding button , is

I bought a new battery for my Acer laptop and sometimes it works and sometimes not, now I get nothing but a yellow charging light that quickly turned green no matter how much I push power or how long no screen is on what do I need to do?
