My Asus notebook won't charge battery. I replaced the battery and same issue. It runs while plugged in but battery won't charge

It may be the charger that needs replacing. As a test, try charging it while it is turned off. Not hibernate or sleep, but actually off. One of the common signs of a charger going is not charging the battery and running the device at the same time.
