My cameras keep freezing

I have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I recently added the logitech brio 4k 60fps webcam to my setup for creating content on Youtube. I also have an Elgato CamLink for my Canon SL2. The problem I'm having is when I try to run the cameras at max settings, meaning 4k, my camera feed freezes. Sometimes it goes without freezing, but most times it freezes all the time. When I run my logitech at 720p 30fps it works fine, but I did not buy it to run that low. What I need to know is what upgrades do I need to make in order to run max settings.

My rig:
CPU-AMD FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor
GPU-Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming Gv
Motherboard-BIOSTAR TA970 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB3
Dual monitors
16GB Ram DDR3

I am just at a loss, please help!

Could be a USB port issue, maybe bandwidth or something else. Check for a BIOS update. You may need to contact support for the cameras. Although likely the result will be that both will say it's a computer issue or issue with the other camera.

I also believe it to be a port issue, because when I plug the logitech into my 2.0USB it works fine. The only problem is that my DSLR can only be connected with a 3.0 connection. How do I go about repairing the port?
