Solved! my Dell laptop has no power

Hi guys.

let's get to the point. So, first my laptop screen is blank and there's a "bib" sound, so i thought it was RAM. I opened up my laptop back case and put the RAM and clean it. when i put it back, suddenly my laptop won't turn on. I tried to put the battery and plug the adapter and still....nothing happened. there's no LED on when i plug the adapter, looks like there's no electricity flowing on my motherboard.

You need to go back inside and see what isn't as it should be. My first suspect will be the power jack. but see if it boots up while the case is open.

i still open the back case, but i don't think it's the power jack. i just tried put the battery back and... still looks like no electricity on the motherboard

If that mains lead isn't connecting at the wall outlet or at the power block, the battery might not have been charging and it wouldn;t be passing power to the laptop. Sometimes the obvious gets overlooked.
