My Hp laptop won't open up the repair settings

My hard drive failed and when I went to go auto repair it, it freezes and doesn't open anything up, just a blank screen, but after a few minutes a window briefly pops up and then disappears for good. After when I go to try opening the F11 menu it does the same thing. I don't know what to do, I can't factory reset my Hp laptop

You should be able to reset any device, however it will make you lose data.

But, if the hard drive/HDD is what is going/gone, then resetting the laptop it won't help. You would just need to replace the drive.
