My hp mini 210-1000NR laptop with windows 7 operating system got hanged while downloading antivirus. So i shutdown by holding power button. Now when i start the computer it is turned on but no software or document is opening. Is this problem related with bios setting. What should i do?

thnx for your reply. i have resolved the problem. it was due to incompatible antivirus. i started the laptop in safe mode and opened the hp assistant and then uninstalled the antivirus and further diagnosed hard disc, all drivers and battery and then restarted the computer. and it worked. after restart the laptop started in normal mode and now its working normally.
