my kurio 7 s has a red charging battery is that ok

The battery on the screen is red. I thought it I is supposed to be green? Will it charge and is that normal. I just got it used.

Maybe leaving it for a full day charging will be a good option since you say it's brand new..If you already did that then relax 😀 it may just be the normal colour to your tablet 😉
