my laptop doesnt connect to some wifi networks

my hostel provides different wi fi networks and they all have the same password and my laptop used to connect to all of them but now it only connects to one and when i try connecting to others it says no network yet other laptops connect to the networks. i have tried updating my pc but nothing is working

reinstall your wifi drivers from the laptop manufacturer´s homepage

delete known wifi connections and connect to these again by entering the password.

eventually some routers are sending via 5GHz or 2.4GHz, does you wifi provide both or just 2.4GHz or 5GHz?
