My laptop fan is clicking

The fan started making clicking noises and then one day it started to shut down because of overheating and my dad checked the fan and nothing was wrong until and new message started showing up then ordinary message of overheating and then i didnt backup any data or the system and then the computer shut off completly and cant turn is back on please help also its a asus laptop dont know specs

Sounds like the fan wasn't working correctly and needing replacement, however, since it wasn't done, something has now overheated and damaged hardware. You are probably going to have to take it to a local tech to have it looked at, or if it is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer.
