Solved! My laptop won't charge and won't turn on

Hi. I have an asus rog g751 jy laptop that won't charge. It charges sometimes and it doesn't seem like fiddling with the power cord solves anything. Well, some days it works by fiddling with it and somedays not. Its really weird. Now the pc is off and I can't seem to get it back on because its not charging. Ive had previous issues with a battery not wanting to charge, only maintain power as long as its plugged. I have replaced that faulty battery since then though. I just wonder if my power cord is the problem or if it's the battery. The power cord is giving a green light as it has always done

It could be the charger is damaged and needing replacing, it could be the charging port is damaged and needs replacing, or it could be both. I would have it looked at by a tech to be sure.
