My laptop won't charge or on

I have an acer laptops aspire e1 531 which was working fine but not now it refuse to charge or on and I disassemble the laptop and I saw that the black wire of the power jack has cut then I fix it couple back the laptop plug the charger and I did not receive any response please how can I fix it

Hi,

I would suggest trying a different AC adapter first that has the same voltage and see if it will work or not. If a different AC adapter will still not work that could mean it's a hardware problem. Do also reseat the RAM's remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure everything is seated properly. If reseating the RAM's will still not that could mean it's a motherboard problem.

and dont forget to "reset" the battery.
battery out, charger out, press powerbutton for 5-10 sec, and install battery and plug in charger.
