Question Laptop sometimes charge and sometime it won't charge

I'm using the ASUS X509DA. My laptop is almost four years old. When I connect my charger, sometimes it doesn't charge. When I plug it in after 30 minutes or an hour (Sometimes even after a long gap), it will charge. My laptop is also resetting its time. I don't know what the problem is. When I went to the local service shop, he said the adaptor was faulty, so I bought a new one, but when I tried to see if the old one was still working, the old one works perfectly now. I can't even find the problem. My battery charges at the same rate, and even when it is at 100% (unplugged), it will last for three hours.

I did not change the battery and adapter. Everything is built in. I replaced the cooling fan because I heard a bearing sound when the fan started up; sometimes the fan does not even run. So, I installed a new fan.
